Political Science Learning Outcomes Upon completion of their program curricula, students who complete a major in Political Science will be able to demonstrate competence in political analysis, information literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills with respect to U.S. and world politics. All students will be assessed to determine that they can:understand political concepts, theories, institutions, and processes,understand a range of research methods appropriate for political analysis,synthesize, analyze, and evaluate scholarly literature addressing research questions, andconduct political analysis and propose policy recommendations or forecast outcomes.
