Hankey Center Education Resources Teacher Resources Coming Soon. The Hankey Center staff is currently preparing supplemental High School Social Studies lesson plans using primary sources pertaining to women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s history during the period between 1874 and 1974. These lesson plans are designed to provide opportunities for students to practice critical reading and thinking skills and increase their knowledge of women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s history. Research Focus The history of women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s education in terms of access, curriculum, pedagogy, fields of study, and purpose; how women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s education has evolved over time. Women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s leadership, women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s role in the workforce, work/life balance, women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s role in religion and social justice movements, and women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s roles in various fields such as education, government, medicine, religion, business, science, and law. The role and influence of Wilson women compared with national trends across time and space, with emphasis on the era of the operation of the college. Contemporary women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s issues including feminism, women ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s studies, cultural, educational, and political topics.
