ºìÌÒÊÓƵ Foundry Art Exhibition Opens Sept. 14

A free exhibition featuring artwork by members of The Foundry will open Thursday, Sept. 14, at ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s Bogigian Gallery. The show runs through October 15. 

A reception to mark the opening will be held at the gallery Thursday, Sept. 14, at 4:30 p.m. Admission to the reception and the ongoing exhibition is free. 

The Arts at Wilson presents ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ArtsFest! A week-long event, spotlighting the remarkable art, artists, and artistic opportunities here at Wilson. Distinguished by our programs ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’ interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to craft and inquiry, ArtsFest seeks to engage our campus and greater regional community in art and artmaking opportunities that reach across disciplines, subject matter, and boundaries, with the intention of fostering relationships, connections, and ideas that effect positive change in our world.

The Arts at Wilson presents the first annual ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ArtsFest! A three-day event, spotlighting the remarkable art, artists, and artistic opportunities here at Wilson. Distinguished by our programs ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’ interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to craft and inquiry, ArtsFest seeks to engage our campus and greater regional community in art and artmaking opportunities that reach across disciplines, subject matter, and boundaries, with the intention of fostering relationships, connections, and ideas that effect positive change in our world.

Wilson will hold a reception at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, to mark the opening of the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. The show, presented by Arts at Wilson, will continue through April 21 in the Bogigian Gallery on the second floor of Lortz Hall.

The Foundry, at 100 South Main Street in downtown Chambersburg, will host an exhibition of artwork by our studio art and graphic design students. The show will open on February 3 and continue through March 5, 2023. The event is free and open to the public.

Wilson will host an exhibition of artwork by students from Hagerstown Community College (HCC) in the Bogigian Gallery from Feb. 1 through Mar. 3, 2023. An opening will be held in the gallery on Feb. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Wilson will host an opening for Breana Sneed ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s senior capstone exhibition at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, at Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall. The show will continue through January 18, 2023. Before the opening, professor Denise Joyal will host a ceramic pit firing along with Ms. Sneed. This firing event will take place at 6:15 p.m. at Lortz Hall. All are welcome

Wilson will host a reception for Madison Smarsh ºìÌÒÊÓƵ ’s senior capstone exhibition, Justice in Design, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall. The exhibition will continue through May 15, 2022. 

The Bogigian Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.
