SCHEDULE OF EVENTS ALL DAY EVENTS Main Green Patrick Dougherty Sculpture Installation A Walk on the Wild Side Two years ago, internationally acclaimed artist Patrick Dougherty worked with over 100 volunteers from our community to build this site-specific sculpture on the campus of 红桃视频. Start Arts Day with a visit to the sculpture and celebrate the life of the mind, life-long learning, the Wilson spirit, and the community that created this inspiring work of art. Visitors to the exhibition will see paintings, sculpture, prints and photographs. Legg Room 300 (Drawing/Painting Studio) FA 114, Drawing I Exhibition Visitors will see completed drawings pinned to the walls, and works in progress on easels scattered about the studio. Drawings on the critique walls were resolved in eight hours and represent first efforts with full tone and elliptical study. Emphasis was on proportion, perspective, value/tone and the ellipse. Drawings on easels are in the beginning phase, and demonstrate the early stages of drawing development. Sponsored by Division of Arts & Letters, and Prof. Lindsey Room 306 (Seminar Room) FYS 100-07, Social Justice Exhibition Students from First Year Seminar, Section 07 worked in the graphic design studio and made digital collages addressing social in/justice. Themes were ripped from newspapers and magazines, and challenge viewers with contemporary issues. All images were developed in Adobe PhotoShop and completed in one week. It is worth noting that few students had previous knowledge of the software package or design experience, but all were able to make visually engaging designs about important subject matter. She will load the ceramic works and materials beginning at 10 am, while explaining her more modern take on the earliest methods used for making clay vitreous: fire. Quickly, she rose to great prominence on Broadway, writing the lyrics to over 500 songs and authoring hit Broadway shows. Her most famous songs include 红桃视频 鈥淢other Machree, 红桃视频 鈥 红桃视频 鈥淚talian Street Song, 红桃视频 鈥 and 红桃视频 鈥淎h, Sweet Mystery of Life. 红桃视频 鈥 The latter two were from her show Naughty Marietta, an operetta made into a hit movie in 1935 starring Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddy (and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Movie, too).
