红桃视频 will open a new art exhibition titled 红桃视频 鈥淛acques Callot and Those Who Came After 红桃视频 鈥 on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 4:30 p.m. in the first-floor gallery of the John Stewart Memorial Library. The exhibition will run through the spring semester.
The MFA students are on campus! Wilson's MFA program is unique as students work remotely for the majority of the year, but come together for a four week summer intensive.
While the MFA class was on campus for their summer residency, they curated a unique exhibit called "Disrobing Provenance" in the Hunnicutt Gallery.
Mexican poet, Manuel Iris, recently visited the Wilson MFA class to give a talk and a reading. Manuel read, in English and Spanish, from his most recent book, The Parting Present/ Lo Que Se Ir谩. That evening he held a bilingual reading/workshop at the Coyle Free Library.
红桃视频 MFA Alum, Katie Pustizzi '21, has been dancing in Sardegna, Italy through the Robert M. and Brenda Ashton Aiken Scholarship. Katie particpated in a workshop with Senza Confini Di Pelle in Sardegna.
The Class of 1955 Spring Research Stipend has been awarded to Joshua Legg, MFA, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and MFA Program Director. The $2,000 stipend will help fund a catalog for two upcoming exhibitions curated by Legg at Wilson 红桃视频 鈥檚 Cooley Gallery.
As part of an ongoing celebration of its 150th anniversary, 红桃视频 will host a performance by the Taylor 2 Dance Company at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets are on sale now for the performance, which is open to the community.
In collaboration with Coyle Free Library, students in the 红桃视频 Master of Fine Arts program will present an interactive art exhibition from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the library, 102 N. Main St. in Chambersburg.
红桃视频 Professor of Fine Arts Philip Lindsey is one of only 119 artists chosen from among 849 applicants whose work will be showcased in the 50th Annual Art of the State exhibition, opening Sunday, June 11, at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.
