ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ Directory Mary Beth Wert Position Assistant Professor of Veterinary Nursing & Animal Studies Academic Program Veterinary Nursing Contact via e-mail Bio Mary Beth Wert ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ ’10, ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ ’23 M.A., is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over two decades of experience in veterinary medicine, beginning her career in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science in veterinary medical technology, along with a minor in business, from ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ in 2010. In 2023, she returned to Wilson to complete a Master of Arts in Humanities, focusing on animal humanities and the ethical, cultural, and historical dimensions of human-animal relationships. Since 2016, Wert has served as an assistant professor of veterinary nursing, teaching courses in both veterinary nursing and animal studies. Her teaching draws on years of clinical experience and a strong interdisciplinary academic background.
