Each year, students from all disciplines are chosen by their professors to receive a variety of College awards based on exemplary and outstanding academic merit and achievement. An awards ceremony is held in their honor at the closing of the annual Student Research Day.

Our 17th annual Barsy-Colgan Student Research Day is Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24, and is free and open to the public. Join us in person or online to celebrate student research, innovation, and creativity. Wilson students have completed research and creative projects this year with the guidance of their faculty mentors and will present their work in person in the Harry R. Brooks Complex for Science, Mathematics, and Technology or display it on posters in Laird Hall.

Commencement 2026

There will be two in-person Commencement ceremonies on the Main Green of the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania campus on Sunday, May 3, 2026. A ceremony for undergraduate students (Associate and Bachelor's degrees) will begin at 10 a.m. A ceremony for graduate students (Master's degrees) will begin at 2 p.m.

Our ������Ƶ “gently flowing stream ������Ƶ ” is the home to innumerable amounts of microscopic life, including bacteria found in poop! What bacteria are present, and do they carry antibiotic resistance genes?
Presented by Amber Marble, Assistant Professor of Biology
