Cooley Gallery exhibition - Paging Through: Artist's Books Tuesday, February 11, 2020 - 7 pm to Thursday, March 12, 2020 - 8 pm Beginning Friday, March 13, no events will be held on campus through the end of the semester (May 14, 2020) where 10 or more individuals may attend. This policy applies to all college-sponsored events, including those organized by students, and any events hosted by external organizations on our campus. As a result this exhibit is now closed. Cooley Gallery ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ ’s Spring 2020 exhibition Paging Through: Artist's Books by Tia Blassingame Tia Blassingame ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ — who was a guest artist at Wilson in 2012 ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ — is an African American book artist and printmaker exploring the intersection of race, history, and perception. She often incorporates archival research and her own poetry in her artist ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ ’s book projects for nuanced discussions of racism in the United States. While Ms. Blassingame will not be at this opening, she will be our June artist-in-residence, and will give a talk about her work when she is on campus.
