Ancient Houses In Summer 2021, students enrolled in CLS 215: Women in Antiquity conducted research in groups about the way that people lived around the ancient Mediterranean world. Each group represents a different geographic area, and their task was to compare and contrast the houses of the elites with those of the "average" people from that area. Each group then created a website to share their research. Each group also chose a selection of objects from the Antiquities Collection to display as part of this exhibition. The items that they chose come from a broad array of media, including vases, terracotta lamps, bronze items, and faience. Be sure to check out each group's research!
