Lori Frey has been teaching and leading in the sports and athletics arena for more than 30 years. From 1988-2020, Frey served as faculty in Exercise Science and Physical Education as well as Director of Athletics. During her tenure as AD, ��Ƶ gained NCAA and conference membership and experienced a transition to co-education. The department expanded from a staff of one to a department of 40, sponsoring 11 Division III sports for men and women. Frey has overseen the Gannett Memorial Field House renovation, the development of a new 7000 square foot Fitness Center, and the construction of softball, soccer, and baseball fields. She also served as conference commissioner, conference sport-liaison and on NCAA committees. Now, after creating the Sport Management major, Frey returns to the classroom full-time, and serves as the program's advisor.

In addition to the administrative role Frey held, she also coached at Wilson for 13 years, stepping down from the helm of field hockey and softball after leading both teams to conference championships and invitational wins with in the Atlantic Women ��Ƶ ’s College ��Ƶ ’s conference. During her tenure she coached 10 most outstanding players in the conference, 45 all-conference selections and one athlete still holds the NCAA all division career batting record.

Frey, holds a bachelor's degree from Penn State University in Health and Physical Education (now Health and Human Development) where she was a Division I softball student-athlete making 3 sweet 16 appearances as the starting catcher. She also holds a master's degree from Slippery Rock University in Athletics Administration where she served as a Division II softball coach and graduate teacher assistant in physical education.

Frey lives in Chambersburg where her family (wife, parents, sisters, nieces and nephew) now also reside. She loves walking her Great Danes, running, and spending time outdoors.
