The ��Ƶ Juried High School Art Exhibition is an opportunity for student artists to exhibit and possibly win cash or a scholarship.

��Ƶ will host the 14th Annual Juried High School Student Art Exhibition from October 26 ��Ƶ – December 2, 2024. This exhibition will be an installed exhibition of artwork in Bogigian Gallery at ��Ƶ.

��Ƶ Foundry Art Exhibition Opens Sept. 14

A free exhibition featuring artwork by members of The Foundry will open Thursday, Sept. 14, at ��Ƶ ��Ƶ ’s Bogigian Gallery. The show runs through October 15.

A reception to mark the opening will be held at the gallery Thursday, Sept. 14, at 4:30 p.m. Admission to the reception and the ongoing exhibition is free.

The exhibition gathers artwork from members of The Foundry, Chambersburg ��Ƶ ’s artist cooperative located at 100 South Main Street. Current Foundry members have been invited to exhibit two works of art during this exhibition. Visitors can expect to see work in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and more.

��Ƶ “��Ƶ and The Foundry have partnered on a number of exhibitions, offering exciting opportunities for Wilson students and Foundry members, ��Ƶ ” said Philip Lindsey, Professor of Fine Arts at ��Ƶ.

Wilson will hold a reception at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, to mark the opening of the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. The show, presented by Arts at Wilson, will continue through April 21 in the Bogigian Gallery on the second floor of Lortz Hall.

Wilson will host an exhibition of artwork by students from Hagerstown Community College (HCC) in the Bogigian Gallery from Feb. 1 through Mar. 3, 2023. An opening will be held in the gallery on Feb. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The show features drawings, paintings, sculptures, and photographs by current visual arts students from HCC ��Ƶ ’s Department of Visual Arts. HCC and Wilson are partnering to provide opportunities for students seeking growth in their disciplines and an exhibition venue outside Hagerstown. The exhibition also provides a professional gallery experience for those students wishing to transfer to Wilson or other four-year institutions. Both colleges offer degrees in visual art, graphic design, and web design and collaborate to benefit students thinking about furthering their education and working toward a bachelor ��Ƶ ’s degree.

HCC and Wilson work with students to develop broad disciplinary skill sets, content knowledge, and critical and creative thinking skills to prepare tomorrow ��Ƶ ’s leaders for the challenges of a complex world. The exhibition celebrates institutional collaboration, student scholarship, and artistic voice.
