Welcome Week is a week of orientation activities from Thursday, August 21 through Monday, August 25 - the first day of class. Programs and activities that have been selected for orientation are designed to make students feel at home at Wilson, prepare them for academic challenges and have fun getting to know their new classmates.

The ��Ƶ annual Fall Convocation will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. We will be celebrating the start of the 2025-26 academic year and welcoming new members to the Wilson community.

President Wesley R. Fugate, Assistant Professor of Special Education Janet Foor, and WCGA President Hannah Bost will share remarks on Wilson ��Ƶ ’s shared vision, mission, and values.

Saturday, November 15 from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

See and learn what the Wilson veterinary nursing program has to offer you. This event is for students whose focus is animals, big and small: future veterinarians or vet nurses who will learn about our majors in Veterinary Nursing and our Pre-Veterinary Medicine program of studies. Meet faculty, staff, current students, and future classmates. Tour our 9,000 square foot Veterinary Education Center. This facility includes two surgery rooms, a dental room, recovery room and isolation room, as well as kennels and an indoor run for dogs, a cat room, office, lounge, clinical practice area and laundry facilities.

Equine Studies Focus Day 2025

Take a closer look at equine studies at ��Ƶ. This event will include topic stations and riding demonstrations as well as information about admissions, the application process and financial aid. Tour the Penn Hall Equestrian Center including two indoor arenas (100' x 300' and 76' x 204'), an outdoor arena (150' x 300'), three barns with a total of 71 stalls and 20 acres of fenced paddocks.

*Please note that Veterinary programs will not be represented during this event. ��Ƶ will offer Veterinary Nursing Focus Day on November 16, 2024. Scheduling an individual campus visit during the week is another way to explore this specialty area.
